Pat Irwin and Kyle Acheson at the Original Sin premiere in New York (2024).
Dexter: Resurrection (2025) & DEXTER: Original Sin (2024)
I assist Pat Irwin (Dexter: New Blood, Rocko’s Modern Life, SUSS, Spongebob) on Showtime’s flagship series Dexter: Original Sin and Dexter: Resurrection.
As assistant composer, I’ve written a substantial amount of music for the series. Highlights include character themes for Prater (Peter Dinklage), Charley (Uma Thurman), Lowell (Neil Patrick Harris) and Capt. Spencer (Patrick Dempsey).
LIFE & BETH SEASON 2
Assisted composer Timo Elliston and orchestrator JoAnne Harris on the score for Life & Beth (Season 2), on Hulu.
I conducted “Dinner Music” for string quintet at Sear Sound in Manhattan.

@kyle_acheson been listening to "Family Piano" 3 or 4 times over the past couple days. It's such a lovely, welcome, hopeful, instantly familiar set of songs and so I find it easy to return to while driving, doing chores, or while my highschool students do their work.

“Not to be overlooked are whiz-kid composer Kyle Acheson’s musical contributions. Though he doesn’t perform his works live as he did in Fertile Ground’s “The Waterman”, his recorded pieces are credible enough to blend into a mixtape alongside David Byrne and The Pixies. ”
“Both my inner child and outer adult were delighted by the catchy melodies and intricate harmonies in this whimsical piece of original theatre. ”
“Kyle Acheson contributes original music that sets apt tones of grandeur and sadness.”
